Student 101 installed at USP Santo Centre campus, Luganville, Vanuatu. This unit has added options of kitset table frame, water and drip cup. It has also been upgraded to standard Prodigy microprocessor controller to allow it to have a power socket.

Fume cupboards for Port Vila and Santo, Vanuatu, on their way. An early and foggy start.

Dropping the fume cupboard also cracked the grille frame on the opposite side. The photo shows the crack, and the repair. Solvent cement was injected into the crack, and an extra weld applied to reinforce it.

Unfortunately, while getting the goods into the lab, one of the labourers dropped his corner of the fume cupboard, which cracked the sill. The photo shows the cracks, and again after they were welded up. This demonstrates the value of having professional fabrication skills on site.

Fume cupboard installed at USP campus on Majuro, Marshall Islands. The local power supply is 120V. Our standard Prodigy controller has a custom made transformer for the microprocessor. The extra black box on the left is a 1000W step-up transformer to provide 230V for the VLT fan drive.
